Abbey, Bryan, John Piper & Brian

We visited John Piper's church in Minneapolis over the weekend, and were so refreshed by his teaching. It was amazing to spend time with that body of Believers and be encouraged in the Word after a long couple weeks on the road. After the service, we stocked up on 'Let the Nations Be Glad' at the bookstore to sell to students on the road, and got to meet John. He is a man who has greatly influenced Bryan and I in not only our passion for Christ, but for the Nations to know Him as well. We were able to thank him for the way he's allowed God to use him to speak into our lives, and so many others of our generation. It was a great night!

If you haven't visited already, check out the Desiring God website for some great resources; books, sermons, links and Podcasts. It's an excellent site!

We also got to eat some great Somali food while we were there. Minneapolis is said to have the largest Somali population outside of Somalia, and we very excited to eat some great food and meet some Somalis while we were in the city.

99% of the people in Somalia follow Islam, dont know Christ, and have little to no access to the Gospel we hear every week.

Please pray with us for the people in Somalia to know Christ and find life in Him.

Joshua Project has an amazing website where you can find information on the majority of people groups in the world. Here's a link for all the people groups represented in Somalia. Click on the people group name in blue on the left for more info, pictures, maps and specific prayer requests for each people group.

And, of course, if you visit Minneapolis, you have to visit the Mall of America!
